All year round you can enjoy Gai’s Alfresco Degustation Luncheons in our air-conditioned facility, overlooking Lake Shiraz.Open from 12 noon until 3pm on Saturdays or Sundays, the menu changes regularly, reflecting the changing flavours of the seasons.
The first of the five courses begins with a plate of warm crusty sourdough bread, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Caramelised Balsamic .We feel this perfectly complements our warm Kalamatta olives. A demitasse of soup de jour completes the first course.
This is a share plate of special tastes and textures including bite-sized pastries filled with unique and amazing flavours, including Gai’s famous ‘pumpkin’.
The third course is more substantial with servings appropriate to the season - for instance: saté chicken, shiraz beef pie or pistachio terrine to mention just a few.
A TASTE OF CHEESE
Seasonal fruit accompanies a slice of double brie cheese, served with a homemade oatcake. It’s light yet rich. The perfect interlude.
TRIO OF DESSERT
The final course is an assiette of three different elements from Gai’s wide selection of desserts. Looking fabulous on the plate, it presents as a delicate, irresistible selection of extra special sweet treats.
